Private Fees

Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:

• Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
• Insurance claim forms
• Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
• Private sick notes
• Vaccination certificates

Please note we do not provide a passport signing service. Passport applications can be signed by someone professional (e.g. a teacher) who has known you for over 2 years.

The Private fees  are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales.

If you have a form which requires completion or signature by a GP, please contact Debbie 0208 877 7423 in the first instance and leave name and address plus contact details if necessary . We are usually unable to complete forms during a GP appointment so please seek advice before requesting an appointment for this purpose.

If you require your GP to write a letter on your behalf, please make an appointment. Letters will need to be dictated and typed and will not usually be produced during an appointment. You will generally be asked to pick up the letter from the surgery once it has been typed.
