Online Access To Medical Records

From 4th October, the practice switched on online access to medical records so that any existing patient with access to online services such as Repeat Prescription Ordering or simple access to test results will have access to all aspects of their medical record from 4th October.

You will be able to see

  • Allergies and adverse reactions
  • Medicines
  •  Immunisations
  •  Health Conditions
  • Test Results
  • Consultation notes
  • Documents

If you register with us after 4th October and request online access, you will be given access to your records from the date you registered.
For existing patients, you will be able to see your medical record from 4 October 2023 onwards

Patients who do not want access to their records can specify this by contacting the admin team via our secure online form (patients who share a phone might want to specify this, for example)
Patients who require access to online records before 4th October will need to request access via our secure online form The request will be reviewed by a GP partner who needs to review the online record to ensure that past records do not contain items that might breach confidentiality of third parties. The security of the medical record on the patient’s own technology is the patient’s responsibility.
